PROGRAM Description: Families Forward Wraparound provides mental health and supportive services with a team of caring professionals. Our program helps high risk children and youth remain in the home with their families, and assists them in becoming more successful in other key areas of their lives. Our wraparound process honors the family’s voices and brings people together from different parts of the family’s life to provide a network of support. Families Forward Wraparound services are creative, culturally inclusive, flexible and action-oriented.

POSITION PURPOSE: The Family Support Partner develops a supportive and helping relationship with parents and families of youth in the program. The Family Support Partner helps families develop their formal and informal support network, and provides rehabilitative services to parents and caregivers to improve parenting skills, self-advocacy, and self-sufficiency. Lived experience is a critical part of this unique role, as the Family Support Partner shares his or her personal experience to support the youth’s family and caregivers. The Family Support Partner actively participates in Wraparound meetings to bring forth the voice of the family members.
