Our program helps children and youth remain in the home with their families, and assists them in becoming more successful in other key areas of their lives. Our wraparound process honors the family’s voices and brings people together from different parts of the family’s life to provide a network of support. Position Purpose

The Wraparound Coach is responsible for providing clients with rehabilitation services such as improving social skills, boundaries, coping skills as well as modeling appropriate behavior, boundaries, and communication skills to child and family. This position reports to the Regional Supervisor.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Provides individual, family, and/or group rehabilitation services to youth in their home, community, school, or office.
• Exposes youth to activities in their community to find areas of strength, improve coping skills, and provide support to parents.
• Focuses on helping youth develop skills such as socialization, coping skills, time management, anger management, and other areas of need as identified during Wraparound Team meetings.
• Assists youth in voicing their thoughts and feelings during Wraparound Team meetings, ensuring that perspective of youth is shared during meetings.
• Provides supportive parenting training to parents and/or caregivers. Provides advocacy for child, parents, and families.
• Transports clients when necessary in personal vehicle.
• Assists families in obtaining resources and assistance when needed.
• Assists families in addressing the educational needs of the child.
• Completes Medi-Cal and billing documentation accurately, completely and in a timely manner as directed by County and program standards/procedures.
• Serves as part of a back-up crisis team.
• Displays regular and reliable attendance. Reports to and departs from work on time, as scheduled, and accurately reflects all time on time card.
• Successfully functions as a team member.

• BA in Psychology, Child Development, Social Work or related field.
• One year of experience working with children and youth and their families in a mental health or community-based setting.
• Fluent in English.
• Must be able to provide own transportation to home- and community-based meetings, and to transport clients.
