    ABOUT FAMILY RECOVERY CENTER

    Our Family Recovery Center (FRC) is a residential treatment program dedicated to assisting women recover from substance abuse, while promoting healthy family reunification. FRC serves pregnant and parenting women and their children through the age of 10. We provide a safe and nurturing environment that offers a holistic approach to recovery that includes addiction education and treatment, physical wellness, and meeting the psychiatric needs of our clients.

    Position Description

    Transports clients to treatment related appointments per transportation guidelines.

     

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • The driver will be responsible to ensure safety and maintenance of the FRC vehicles.
    • Other duties include transportation of women and their children to appointment such as the DMV, Family Resource Center and other community services.
    • Provided support services to support the program by monitoring of fuel usage, procurement of bus tokens, passes, coaster tickets and taxicab vouchers.
    • Schedules routes and services to all clients and staff within the Family Recovery Center program.
    • Abides by all California Highway Laws and Authorized Pull Notice Program guidelines and requirements.
    • Orders office, janitorial and maintenance supplies and maintains monthly inventories.
    • Participates in maintenance of security of vehicles and facility.
    • Conducts safety vehicle inspections.
    • Maintains updated logs of transportation and statistics that are submitted on the first of each month to the Program Manager.

     

    Education/Experience Requirements

    • The Driver must have a class B license and a High School Diploma.
    • Clean Driving Record.
    • Must be at least 21 years of age and at least 3 years of driving experience.
    • Previous Record of Paid Driving Experience
